Hi scotch ladI dont want to enter this arguement because it is one of those where reason usually gets lost.
However, one question does occasionally hit my idle mind.
Why do responsible dog owners carefully collect the waste products from their animals, and then proceed to hang the black bag on a nearby branch, or leave it on the footpath? I only ask because our local beauty spot has waste bins at all the exits, but the paths are usually decorated? The Council does of course do 'collections' when they can, but is this really their job?
Most of us? Count me out.Thats why most of us have a caravan so we can go away with our dogs ,cats ect Klarkys right your barking up the wrong lampost
Yas i must agree with you thereWhere my dog goes I go, that's called a lead.
Where I go my dog goes is called being part of the family.
If you want dog free holidays go to certain static parks or a hotel.
I have a white Labrador and a chocolate Labrador and they go on holiday withus all the time. No trouble what so ever and they aren't still up at 2am Pi**ed on plonck yapping in the awning about a load of Crap while 90% of the site are trying to get some sleep!! (late night adult?!! awning parties)
Grrrr Steve L.
I quite agree with you, Kevin. Badly behaved children are far worse thanany dog on site,Some of the response to Joe is quite appalling, a straight foward question I think. Im a dog owner and not offended in any way by this question, its Joes right to be able to go to a site which does not allow dogs, which do exist.
I prefer to go to sites which dont have children screeming at all hours, now have a go about this as well!!!!!!

Maybe the dogs were barking at your guitar playing!!Why is it OK to request ibfo for Adult only sites, yet as soon as anybody mentions dog free sites they are immediatley shot down?
We were on a site last year where i was 'very quietly' playing my accoustic guitar, and I mean quietly...the site owner asked me to be sure I stpped playing by 9pm...which I would have anyway, but when I asked him if that rule applied to dogs barking after 9.00pm which more than drowned out the noise from my guitar he fixed me with a steely glare....I therefore played my guitar until the dogs onsite stopped barking!!
Not everybody likes dogs....I am @+*t scared of them...any size dog, and as a cyclist frequently get chased by them.
As a note Perran springs in Goonhavern (Perranporth Cornwall)is a Dog Free Zone.....Ive never been ther as its 2 miles from where I live!
