Dogs on site

In the CC sites book lots of sites do not display the dog symbol that would normally indicate No dogs allowed but the pictures quite often dispaly dogs at the site !! Yes I am confused, especially after a recent conversation when making a booking. The site owner suggested that she thought all CC sites allowed dogs. The info displayed in the site index and coloufull booklet also differs. Anyone else been experiencing this problem with CC sites as its a pain when you trying to plan your next tour..

Regards

Scott.

Hi,

Page 37 of the c.c. handbook 2005/2006 explaines that the dog symbol denotes a "dog walk on site or nearby".

Dogs are allowed on all caravan club sites providing the dog is kept on a lead at all times.

If there is no dog sign then there is no dog walk on site or nearby.

Some dog walks are very short and we find in those cases it is better to walk your dog of site.

Hope this clarifies the situation .

Sorry, forgot to say if a particular site does not show a dog sign then you will have to walk your dog away from the site.

We have never found it a problem walking the dog on or near C.C. sites.
