Just purchased a caravan and used a power washer to clean. i was not very close but i did use one. now i have read this is very bad. will all the seals now be damaged.
πππππ Oh Dear,
On a serious note have you checked inside the van for any immediate signs of water ingress?
Check all the seals outside to see if there is any evidence of the power washer disturbing them.
On a happier note, I suspect you may well get away with it if its just the once. As long as you were not too close.
Have you a damp meter, if so you can keep an eye on the damp readings over the next couple of months.
hi, I went up to the local-ish caravan dealers last week to get a new 7 to 13pin converter [lost mine] while there noticed one of the dealers staff washing their caravans, with a jet wash, so it's not all bad news,

Hi, just checkout YouTube for how to clean a caravan (without the use of a hose pipe.) power washing Is'nt recomended as it can be very easily misused by the opperator, very low pressure is all thats needed if you can't manage without one,
a very useful bit of kit is the old garden spray, they are readily available at most super markets and DIY stores, I got mine for under a tenner from Aldi. JRS1
