Dorset or South Devon recommendation

Hi, can anyone recommend any touring sites in south Devon or Dorset?
Must be dog friendly, within a mile or two of a pub or pubs😁. Close to a beach and easy access for caravans.
Even better if it’s walkable into a town.
Thanks in advance.

Wareham Forest site. Great access to forest for walking , cycling. Not far from Swanage or Studland great beach. Good Gurkha restaurant close by give delivery too. Wareham a short drive. Good pool on site. Worth a look.

Wherever you decide it is worth entering the postcode into Google Maps which will give you the precise location then you can decide if the location is for you - you can even pre-run the approach route on street view - as well as using Tripadvisor or similar to read reviews. In many respects it’s ’horses for courses’ choosing sites that meet your individual needs!

I'm a bit late to the conversation, I know, but we stayed at a CL campsite very close to Highcliffe Beach (walking distance) a lovely pub 5 minutes walk down the road.

We created a youtube video of our adventure there that will give you a much better idea of the site. And if you like the video please consder subscribing to our channel! 😀
