East Coast sites with sea views?

Hi - Planning 2010 hols and we're looking for sites with sea views on the east coast around Great Yarmouth area. Anyone know of any or have you stayed at one?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi Robert

In October Half Term 2008 we stayed Azure Seas which is a few miles south of Yarmouth. We like the site which is quite basic but it depends what you like.

My favourable review, Tim and Cary, can be seen here along with others' mixed opinions.

UKC campsite search will give you a lot of sites in that, or any other, area with "real" reviews.

We found Azure Seas via that website which we use a lot.

Hope this helps.

Hi Everyone - and thanks for the replies so far.

I'll take a look at your suggestions which I'm sure will be a huge help in deciding where to go in the summer.

As we go away as a family with 2 caravans - sometimes 6 adults and 4 grandkids - we need a site that can cater for everyone really. G/kids need lots of space with activities while grown-ups sometimes like to pop into the pub for a wee refreshment some nights (well we are on holiday!) so a good, clean site is essential.

Have just booked a long weekend in March at Havens Thorpe Park which will let us have a good look around the area although my own preference would be a quieter site where I can open the blinds in the morning and take in the view of the waves rolling in - Heaven!
