Hello again,

for my first tour to UK looking for some beautiful Sites in East Kent. Found Sandwich Leisure Park, Romney Park, Black Horse Farm, Little Satmar... Any experiences with these parks or any other insider tips? We are a family with 2 Kids (10/12) and Caravan. May/June a good time for East Kent?

Thank you!

Bump!

I'm sorry that I can't offer any tips for touring in Kent, perhaps some of our forum members can help?

Meanwhile our sister websiteCaravan Sitefinder lists 91 caravan sites in Kent, some with reviews.

Have just returned from 5 days at Black Horse Farm, Hawkinge. Absolutely brilliant site, very well maintained, clean heated facilities. Only downside I found was that the site has a very well laid out dog walk, but the owners (of dogs that is) just dont seem to want to walk the short distance to this facility, they would rather let the dog go on the grass next to their hard standing, which is ok while they are there, but what about the next occupant. Not having a dig at dog owners the majority are ok just the odd one or two, who always seem to be pitched near me.

Hello Hobo,

We have stayed at the Little Satmar site, we really liked it there, but to be honest with you, there was not a lot there for kids.

Best wishes,

Jonah.

Tanner Farm in Goudhurst (couple of miles from Marden) was excellent; masses of space; play area for the children and attached to a farm with animals for the children to see; excellent dog walks too.

Hi Hobo, Tanner Farm is excellent for children its a large open friendly site and the added bonus is the farm animals if they are interested. I'm glad to hear your son supports a good football team.

Enjoy your holiday, Colin.
