easy erect awning

hi

I am after a easy erect awning and saw the Royal Windsor 390 & sunncamp 390 which I liked the look of, has anyone got these and what are they like? or any other makes that are better. I liked the royal windsor as it has a bag attached to the side of the van for storage and transport. Am only in my 2nd year of caravaning so any help would be appreciated!

Hi bob99

We have a P A C K 390,which we really pleased with,we find the upright poles and cushion pads that are adjacent to the van are better than the awnings that have just a flap, which believe me they do flap when windy.

Very easy to put up and soon dry.They also have a three tiered side window ie roll up blind then mesh then an outer that can be zipped back alowing plenty of air through if wished.

This is one of the dearer types but scout around and you can save quite a bit. (A well known dealer in Glossop)

Bob 99 , well hello there ,I would like to suggest to you that you try the Kampa 390 Porch awning, we have just bought one this season and I have to say they are very good indeed there isnt a poll really that touches the van and I think that is a bonus on its own.
