EC400 PSU possible charging problems

My recently purchased 2012 Swift Challenger Sport 524 is fitted with a Sargent EC400 Power Supply Unit. On my first trip away with a fully charged reliable battery the LED display showed 13.5v.
After 4 days the LED display was down to 11.5v so to double check I disconnected the battery and with a voltmeter measured 11v. I then switched the charger back on and got a reading of 14v from the battery charger leads.
On reconnection the LED display showed 13.5v but after 2 days was back down to 11v reading.
When I returned home I conducted all the tests that the Sargent Technical leaflet suggested and all results were as per specified.
The question is, do I have problem with the charger that is difficult to diagnose as I would assume that with little overnight battery use it should come up to full charge?
Thanks in advance
