We returned to a CL we were staying on, to find our neighbour had driven out for the day in their motorhome, leaving the live EHU cable, unplugged from the motorhome, laying on their pitch in the wet grass and placed inside a carrier bag, but with the other end still plugged in to the supply post.
It beggars belief what would have happened if exploring children had found it.
We had a chat about it to them when they returned and they were completely unaware of the danger it posed and thanked us for pointing it out to them.
