Hi all

How do i switch my caravan from 12V to 230V as i cannot find a switch in my van anywhere and it has got both 12V and 230V.

it has got the 230v hook up on the outside of my van, and my main fuse box lights up red then the 230 is connected to it.

Hi,

You dont need to "change over" the electrics as such, the van does it automatically when you use the particular piece of equipment.(240v or 12 v)

Just simply switch over to "Van" and switch the charger on, this will also charge your battery when hooked up.

There is no automatic switch over between 12 volts and 230 volts,there are two separate voltage systems in a caravan-

12 volts

and 230 volts

Selecting "van" connects the battery charger output and battery to the 12 volt equipment in the van.

Make sure your trip-switches on the control box are in the proper position - usually "up" for "On".
