Can any one please confirm my thoughts:

12volt switch melted and blew fuse, replaced both still not working.

240 volt worked fine, then had to have gas to start off, now seems to warm fridge in conjunction with gas.does not appear to work on its own. Gas works but can take some time to ignite(can see if lit through the viewing glass in side the fridge)

I suspect that both the 12v and 240v elements ceased working.any thoughts or similar experences.

Andrew, simplest answer is to get it serviced by a qualified service technician.

My thoughts exactly Damian, sounds like it's never been serviced correctly hence all the different problems.
