EMUK towing mirrors

Does anyone use EMUK towing mirrors? The strap on ones we are currently using on our Ford Ranger aren't great and move whilst towing. The EMUK ones are not cheap but they look solid.

Wondered if they are worth the money at around £120 a pair. TIA.

I changed from Milenco Grand Aero to EMUK for the Sportage last year. Unbelievable improvement. No vibration, a much more certain mount and the best view I've ever had. Well worth the money IMHO

We have never had an issue with Milenco Grand Aero vibrating on any of our tow cars which has included Ford, Toyota and Jeep? I wonder why there is vibration on some cars and not others? 🤔

Since Milenco and EMUK mirrors both fit onto the door mirror casings, any vibration in the casings themselves will be transmitted to the towing mirrors.

Just being nosey, what model , engine size Is your sportage, and what van do you tug with it?

Disagree. The Milenco's clamp to the thin outer casing of the car mirror. The EMUK have a custom wraparound casting which uses the whole mirror body not just the thin plastic outer casing.

Ours clamped onto the outer casing at the top and the mold on the inside. Probably why no vibration issues?

Not heard of EMUK, but can speak on the Milenco vibration.

I've got a pair of Milenco Grand Aero mirrors which are great on my Volvo's door mirrors. Yes, they bounce a bit, but they are on the end of an arm. However, I kept my Aero 3's I'd bought first, as spares; had cause to use them last year for the first time in years. but they bounce and vibrate like the proverbial, and are annoying to use. Will keep them for emergency use only.

I used to use the Milenco Grand Aero 3s but they dont fit my frameless mirrors. Switched to Suck-it-and-see deluxe, and they are fantastic. Solid fixing, super light weight, built in blind spot mirror, adjust with the car mirror so you can use the mirror controls to set them up.

Just bought a pair of EMUK mirrors after issues with the Milenco's becoming loose. We had the Milenco's which clamped on the top of the mirrors.

There's no way the EMUK ones will have a risk of detaching. Quality and build is a different league.
They are good and can be purchased to match car colour at a fee.
