The supervisor is busy watching that show and the sound of it is sapping my will to live. worse to come though as they are just starting the vote. :0(

The whole competition is so corrupt. Anyone with a little knowledge of geography and the political blocks the countries are/were allied to can forecast the vote.

In fairness the U.K. entry was utter crap but if it was the best song ever written it wouldn't get in the top half. Ireland I thought had a good chance but like us aren't part of Scandinavia, Baltic States, Balkan States or the old communist block. They started phone voting to try and end the corrupt system that was in place before but it's now even worse. I suppose the B.B.C. will continue broadcasting it though because it must now be a nice money spinner from the phone voting.
 
There is a serious side to the Eurovision voting. I am sure that a similar voting bloc will be taking place in the European Parliament and gradually the influence will move east wards. You never know the EU may achieve what the Soviet Union was unable to i.e. the ex soviet countries will take over the EU which will then be renamed to the Soviet Union of Greater Europe (SUGE). This will then be in a position to challenge the USA for world domination.
 
The four countries who finance it are britain ,france , germany and i think its spain .... none of these countries done well, in fact the only reason they qualified is because they finance it .

Its a complete load of crap, never in my life have i heard utter rubbish being sung by people who would be laughed at during a karaoke session.In the old days it was good to watch with some really good music from the different countries.

They should pull the plug on it now and leave it to eastern european countries to compete between themselves.
