Excess speed.

Don't worry, they soon won't be able to drive like that.

Google EU regulation 2019/2044 (which was issued in 2019 before Brexit so we have agreed to comply) which enforces fitment of all sorts of bells and whistles to new vehicles from 6th July 2022. There is a lot on Google under such as Autocar and the newspapers, or I have put a piece about be scared out of your skin (that's the polite version!) on another caravan forum. (I hope that is not sinful Parksy?)
How many young people will be able to afford a new 2022 car? They will continue to drive older cars that they can afford and can afford to insure. By the time they can afford a new car they will have calmed down anyway.

Getting there Clive👍
In English system of measurements, a slug is the amount of mass that 1 pound of force will accelerate at 1 ft/s2, and a pound mass is the amount of mass that 1 LB of force will accelerate at 32 feet/s2. Which equates to the Prof’s figure. So out of idle curiosity I wonder how many NM were needed to shear the stub axle. Saddo🤪🤪

Excellent progress we will make an engineer of you before much longer. I’ve looked intensively at the question using both Imperial conversions and SI units with slide rule and calculator. The answer always comes back the same. A Lot. 👍

The easy availability of credit and PCPs means that the market doesn't work like it used to - young people increasingly buy new cars as their first car, albeit that an increasing number of young people don't even bother learning to drive.

Now my asylum keeper has smoked his last cigarette from the packet, I have a bit more room to refine my answer.

Its now exactly more than 1N😵

Love it. Its what chatter is all about.

But the equation in reference to the stub axle is more like 17yrs+5pts-IQ(25)=told you so.
