Great use for milk carton šI use them on fence posts, stops them rotting.I have come across a similar problem at an elderly friends house, but I cant remember if it was the same make and model of key safe. You have reminded me to check if I can fashion a protective cover for the locking mechanism , or to create a key holder to prevent it from dangling in the way of the lock mechanism.
Just as a suggestion I have found cutting up old plastic 4pt milk bottles to be a useful source of plastic sheet for similar small jobs. It usually sticks with a good contact adhesive.
I ve lined my letter box opening which went through a wall with the plastic and now my post doesn't snag the the edge of the plaser board when its pushed through.
Thatās a nice Cocker. How did you get it to stay still for the photo? šGreat use for milk carton šI use them on fence posts, stops them rotting.
Sadly Sam is no longer with me, old age took its toll. Had him from a pup and trained him to the gun. I remember 1 day he jumped in the back of my truck and a woman came by with a black lab ,the lab tried to jump into the truck and Sam just sat there watching him. The lady said, that's a well behaved dog, I said no he isn't, he's a well trained dog, there is a difference. She just mumbled something and walked away.Thatās a nice Cocker. Will it work for two keys of differing size?I use a blob of Blu-tac to secure the key in my external key safe to the back of it. No issue of it ever falling off !
KISS??
What about a bit of sponge, cut two slots in the sponge, for the keys and close the key safeWill it work for two keys of differing size?
