I'm giving Cornwall a miss this year jo-anne, much to Her Ladyships disgust. I've got a few more pics of Looe, Looe Island and the beach.

I did some Then & Now pics at Looe.

LB, why aint you going?.

everytime i see doc martin, saving grace or echo beach i want to go right there and then to cornwall. the reason why i havent been for a couple of years is we have done padstow and newquay to the death. seeing echo beach has made me realise that there so much more i have missed out on down there. ive never been to looe, or fowey, or polperro, or mouse hole there is so many places we havent been i think we will go this year.

i still cant deceide which site, carnon, looe, merrose or tintagel cc site.

i need help.

i really want to do dorset, devon and cornwall over a 3 week period. lots of places to go it will cut the towing time down and w will see lots of beautiful places and beaches etc on our travels.

im hoping to do hunters moon in feb kids break to check it out for the summer hols.

have you been to dorset?.

help me

My choice would be Carnon jo-anne. It is central to strike out for the north or south coast. Falmouth is only about 6 miles, I love that place.

I've been going to Cornwall just about every year since 1970 so have been to every nook and cranny on the coast. Before the caravan we hired cottages with the exception of once when we had a static at Trevella Park, Crantock.

I've never been too keen on the North Cornwall coast up by Tintagel.
