Hi Tina,

Did you find anywhere near Whitby/Robin Hoods Bay or were you so put off by the negative replies you decided to go west instead ? Keen to know as we may well be looking for somewhere close to home for half-term .

No,not put off at all ! Got my heart set on fish and chips and thats what I,' gonna get,I'm a typical woman,I'll listen to advice and then go and do my own thing anyway!!!!

Glad to hear it - I was getting worried that you might think you were the subject of a Keep TOOTSEY campaign .

As in Keep "Tina Out Of Tees Side & East Yorkshire".

Don't forget Whitby kippers if you like that sort of thing.

And an odd fact - Whitby harbour unexpectedly faces north so talk of the east and west piers can confuse. Nice trick question for the young ones.

HA hA HA HA HA !! there weren't many replys were there!! good job I'm not paranoid(just hard faced !!) There must be lots to do out that way and it looks lovely on the web! Bit of cold never put me off !!! I take it you live that way !!

Thanks for the website address - looks good. Yes, I live about forty miles north of there. If you do visit Whitby you will need to be more than hard faced - you'll need to be hard necked too -it's Dracula country ! Not just the wind that has a bite to it .
