I have a Kampa Pro 260 porch awning. It is perfectly serviceable and leak-proof, however the grey fabric has faded differentially and it looks like it could do with a spruce up! If I used a waterproofing would that even up the colour - in which case what would you recommend?
Thanks

A re-proofing solution isn't a dye! The fabric will almost certainly have faded due to exposure to UV.
In short you are going to have to live with it I am afraid, sorry!

According to Google, you can get products that revive the colour of canvas. Amazon sell a boat canvas colour reviver. I have no idea whatsoever if it is suitable for caravan awnings. A bit of digging around in the internet may flush something out.
Like Mr Plodd my experience with a simple reproofer ( Fabsil) was that it didn’t change the colour of the canvas

I also had a Kampa awning (a 2017 inflatable) and ignoring the leaks, it also faded very quickly. In an effort to fix the leaks I used Fabsil Gold to waterproof it and this DID darken the material slightly.

A bit of a drift.
Seems to me everything caravan fades.

My EHU cable is now a very pale faded lemony orange.

The Bailey Senator decals have almost faded away, illegible.
The dark red Al-ko hitch handle is light dirty pink.

Strangely the rear lights , Red and amber are as good as new.
