Family Sites for Surfing in Aquitaine / Nr Biarritz ?

Hi,

Can anyone recommend family sites on the Aqitaine coast that are close to the surf but also have freshwater swimming pools / slides / activities on site etc. Idealy we would like to be near the coast for surfing.

We are planning to sail to Bilbao then travel into France.

Our children are 9 - 12 years so any activities on site (or nearby) to suit that age would be great.

Any recommendations nearby would be welcome.

Hi, i can recommend the site below:

It is located on the Atlantic coast between Bordeaux and Baritz in the Landes region of Aquitaine. It has got all the things that a euro family holiday site should have and has direct access to the beach. Outside the site are bars, restaurants and small funfair. There is entertainment during high season by the beach where a stage is ersected.

We were there last in 2004 and boy was it hot. There was a heatwave throughout southern europe and it was in the high 30's and the pavements still warm at midnight. We had great time and our daughter was 9 at the time.
