Thank you all for your concern and kind words. The caravan unfortunately has been bought on HP and is only 2 yrs old, which i assume would be difficult to exchange etc.

Its a difficult one this as you will appreciate. Its because of what happened and the fact that my daughter loved the caravan, freedom and fun with her 2 brothers is the reason why we couldn`t get rid of it. Yet on the other hand it will be upsetting to go in it again !!

We`re going to try and have a few days over the kids school holidays. I`ll keep you all posted. Thanks for replying, I wouldn`t have known what to say.

alan, if you feel you need to go down that route there shouldn't be any problem in changing your caravan, even if it is on h.p.

What happens is if you buy a different caravan on H.P. the new h.p. lender pays off your outstanding payments and you sign a new agreement with them. How it works out financially I don't know.

Whichever you do I hope you and your family can overcome this tragic problem.

Hi Alan

I understand that if your daughter loved the caravan then it is not so easy to change it. I do hope you manage to use it for a few days and that once done, it may help just a little. We look forward to your update. With very best wishes

Chris

Alan what ever you do I think you will initially find it upsetting. However take the plunge and see how it goes. If it is still upsetting then you can sell it knowing that you did give it a try. Best wishes whichever way you turn and I am sure you will make the right decision for the family and yourself.
