Emmerson,you starnger I thought you had left and joined the Daventry forum like others have done(well worth a look though)anyway I saw your post under rallies that you are at Elm Cottage this week,I have looked in on that site so would be interested to see what you think after you come back unless you have been before.It looks ok but I will await your report.If SWMBO gets me to take her to Cheshire Oaks this week I might pop in and say hello.

Sir Anthony, I've been around on the forum. You obviously haven't looked in the right places! Elm Cottage; This is our second AGM, and third club visit to the site. Herself and I have also used it on two occasions on our own.Marks out of ten would be 9+. The only minus is because the showers are basic- spotlessly clean, but not state-of-the-art. This is to be rectified with a totally new block very soon. The proprietors live on site, and are very friendly and helpful. What more can I say? It suits us, and as I've said before, we are not "site" people, much prefering to use CLs, but I don't think you'd be dissappointed with Elm Cottage.

PS, there's a good pub within walking distance, and Harrington Caravans about a mile away.

Thanks for that as I say I did pop in and have a look once when I was passing on business and yes the toilet block looked old but we rarely use them anyway instead using the van(or in your case the Smokaloo)it is in a good spot as you say by the barley pop shop and for the boss Cheshire Oaks.

Have been to Lymington in Hampshire! Wonderful place. And am a member on DATA as is Colin and half of PC! LOL
