Could you answer a question please?

I have XP, I had a trogan horse clicker on my computer which I have removed. I have another one on here too and am just running a scan and hopefully remove it.

Question is:

There are two users on this computer, myself and my daughter. I just noticed when I log into her account, the anti virus box doesn't appear. Does that mean her 'half' of the computer is unprotected so to speak?
