I have recently bought a new Swift Freestyle 460 from a well known dealer in Notts. I've noticed above the hi level brake light is a small gap which I feel sure shouldn't be there. I'm concerned there is a danger of water entering here and appearing eventually above the washroom ceiling. I spoke with the dealer's sales dept who looked it it and told me if I'm concerned to put some silicone sealant in the gap.On a new van? I don't think I should do you?

what the sales department should have said is "im sorry we dont know what we are talking about because we are the sales team. best to contact the service dept or aftersales and let them look into it for you"

it is frustrating when sales people are too wary to say they dont know something and with the best intentions will have a guess instead. my advice is speak to the people who know ie their aftersales and not their sales.

Whilst at the dealers, I looked at another 460 and the small gap was on that one as well. It may well be intentional and I'd like reassurances from Swift that this gap is normal and if not what happens next?

All, you might be better placing this on the Swift forum and letting Andy, Ash or Dave answer the question, usually come back with the answers within the day.
