Hi there,

Did you manage to get your balloon flight today? Hopefully it was 5th time lucky.

let us know how you got on.

Wouldn't do for me as I don't like heights,But would love to go to a balloon festival.

The weather is perfect and lift off about 6pm I am not going its my son and daughter,I too do not do heights although they are ok its the falling bit thats a problem, then again thats not true its the landing!

LB I wish I was by the Azores,I see on another post you talk about Presthope i went May Day weekend (without van) to visit friends and thought it was a bit cramped and some vans would struggle to get on to their pitch.

It was late in the season when we went Plotter but I suppose it could get cramped like Aberbran where Lisa is off to. Another one is Moorhampton, near Hereford, all built on the site of closed railway stations.

The take off site was at Wood Norton just by Evesham. Both ballons took off as scheduled however peversly as there was very littel wind only travelled about 7 mile and with such slow progress the flight was slightly shorter than planned as the pilots had to land when they saw a suitable position as to carry on could have meant another hour until they came across another site by which time light could have been an issue. The experience was enjoyed by all taking part.I would put a couple of pics on here but I dont know how to do it.How are your plans shaping up.
