in previous years we have gone over to france by ferry and always had a few hours sleep at the terminal at calais before setting out. this year we are going by eurotunnel. is there somewhere at the eurotunnel at calais to park up for a few hours and get some sleep in? thank you for any help on this subject. geoff.

Hi Goeff

Apparently as you exit the terminal there is a petrol station there (this is before you get to the autoroute), you can park there for a few hours, this is where we are going to stop next year, oh enjoy the train it's great and so much easier than the ferry and the petrol station is there I saw it.

You leave the train, go up the ramp, join the slip road and straight onto the Autoroute. If your arrival is very late or in the small hours, drive round to the dockside. It isn't all that far.

Caravan Europe 2002 says@Overnight parking is permitted at ferry terminal car park and adjacent to ELF service station near Eurotunnel terminal sp Waiting Area. It also says that the garage is open 24hrs but don't know if that means card only. Anybody know?
