Hi Corinne

What i done was go to your nearest dealer and have a look round, just as if you were buying a new car. Pick out the ones that take your fancy and check them against your car. The dealer should keep you right on this. But whatever you get you will love it , we do .

Happy caravaning.

Are you buying new or used?

When we got our first van 5 years ago I decided I wanted a seperate bedroom for the kids which meant a 5 berth. I then wanted a proper wood sliding door across the end so we could use the rest of the van without waking the kids. I wanted blow air heating that worked of gas or electricity so we could use it in winter & most of all I wanted it to be in good condition. I ended up with a swift alouette of 1998 vintage which ticked all my boxes & has a max weight of 1200kg. New 5 berths are getting much heavier though. I kept this van for 5 years, only just agreeing to trade it in, so we made the right choice.
