All cars with start stop function require different batteries because of the start stop, when the battery gets a few years old the stop start will firstly work sometimes but not every time it would normally, eventually you will be able to turn the engine over as normal but you get no start stop function at all, when you reach that point you will find that out of the blue you’ll park up and next time you come to start the car it will be dead as a dodo, all start stop batteries are much more expensive, up to the individual as to whether you save enough money on fuel to still be better off and also it’s less polluting when stationary and the engine is off.
