fitting a 12v cd player

Kevin the first thing i would say as an automotive electrician is that if you are unsure to start with do not proceed, Take the player and the van to a local garage or caravan dealer and ask them to fit it for you, aleast you do not risk damaging the vans electrical wiring, sorry to be blunt but i see alot of small jobs such as this turn horribly wrong without even knowing it.

Hi Tonyex. Just looking around the forums and saw your reply to Kevin. I had an old radio/tape in my van with shelf speakers. Sound was terrible so I ripped it out out but left wiring. Can I just replace the system with a new radio/CD and new speakers? (Pioneer TS44 speakers seem to fit the bill)I have an Abbey County Lincoln 2000
