fitting a socket

http://www.waudbys.co.uk/products/details/17729.html
I have fitted several of these with 230V and 12V sockets

Assuming you are OK about the wiring fitting the box is not difficult if you take your time and measure twice etc

I always make a cardboard template to cover a large area round the hole and stick it in the desired position with masking tape

Drill a hole at each corner and join them up using a craft knife saw blade.I find that easier than a powered jigsaw that can run away with you!!

Tape the flange on the socket box with tape mastic and screw the self tappers gently in to the van side.I prefer not to pre drill as the aluminium is very soft and easily stripped

The 230V can be picked up from an existing fridge socket etc by using a lead with 13 amp fused plug saved from a defunct appliance

Hope that helps
