fitting an outside shower on a Sterling

I have just bought a Sterling elite searcher. Its a brilliant van with everything we want, apart from an outside shower. We need this because we have a springer that loves water and mud!!

Does anyone know how this can be fitted, and if there are any products on the market?

Whale make the Swim 'n' Rinse External Shower which is fitted into the side of the van which cutting a hole in the side of the van and you connect into the xsisting hot and cold pipework.

Yoy can also buy a portable pump with a hose and shower head on with clips to clip onto the battery and then suspend the pump in a bucket of warm water.

PPaul we are looking at the Sterling Elite Searcher, how do you find the van, when we looked through it we were really impressed more so than the Lunar Delta equivalent which l am sure had an out side shower, if we purchase one next year may have the dealer to fit one.

We have two small Standard Yorkies, the bigger of the two has habit of rolling in Badger or Fox muck so you can see the necessity for one

As has been said above Whale etc do an external shower

Some people have had showers forced upon them

Our friend bumped his new van on the dealer forecourt and they fitted a shower unit to cover the dent

He never used it and t was cheaper than a new panel but then he didn't have a Springer!!

Yes Paul its called a hose pipe.

I have two gun dogs and we always take them with us on trips,

I find the best thing to do is is to use a hose pipe with a brush connection, apply a little shampoo and hose the down.

I have tried most things over the years but the hose I have found is the only answer to mud.

Good luck.
