We have recently bought a Hymer 470 caravan and would like to fit a set of full curtains now that winter is here . Has anyone done this? Can we get hold of compatible curtain hooks?

It is not something we have ever thought of doing with either of our Hymers. The latest with its Alde heating doing so would be counter productive.
However if we were I would be talking to the "parts" section at Lowdham's Nottingham branch. Unless individuals or company policies have changed in recent years they always tried that bit extra to help us.

I am confused over which type of curtains will look good in caravan. Can anyone suggest me some materials of it?

Although many caravans are fitted with roller blinds, it's a good idea to close the curtains when the caravan is in storage. This will help to delay upholstery fading caused by sunlight, and using curtains rather than blinds for long periods will help prevent blind springs from weakening.
