Fixed bed mattress

Just try to get air around it. If it’s on ply then put it on its edge or end. If it’s on slats I don’t think it matters.

Hi all what is your thoughts on winter storage for the mattress leave flat or raise it up slightly?
Raise the mattress on its base, doesn’t have to be high just a couple of inches, and lift all furnishings. Open cupboards, lockers, draws etc. Let the air circulate everywhere to the maximum extent. Don’t clean surfaces with Pledge type stuff it encourages mould.

What on earth are you doing on here at 4.32 in the morning?
Hi Ray i am always up early i get my two dogs fed then out on the mobility scooter it has lights on and up to the park for there usual run , this morning it was cold and frosty and then my breakfast

LeeMalin, If your worried about your mattress, and it getting damp I have a Memory foam mattress for a side fixed bed, that zips in the middle, up for grabs FREE. Have a look at the items for sale thread.

I had the same issue so advertised the mattress for £25 and it went in a week. When they came I told them that I did not want the money and that they could have it free. That way no repercussions.
