Flashing alarm recepticle

Hello,

My alarm reset keeps flashing when the alarm is off. I've changed the batteries, reset the alarm and thought that had solved it, but no, it's started flashing again.

We've found the back up battery and tested it, as the manual said a double flash on the recepticle indicated a low back up battery. It tested fine, all looked okay. We're confused. Any ideas?

Gosh, sorry, yes. It's a buccaneer cruiser and the alarm is 650 Auto watch.
Have you inserted the 3 prong key into the socket. It needs to be held there for a short while to stop it flashing. If you just put it in for a second or two, the flashing will stop and then resume again. We have the same system in our 2018 Buccaneer.

We have tried resetting it with three prong, but it just starts flashing again. Will try again though, thanks.
It needs to beheld in for a couple of seconds. Generally the flashing indicates that the alarm has been triggered at some time. There is an owner's manual for the alarm which should be with the documentation.

We purchased it this year, no not from a dealership.
Have you phoned Autowatch support and spoken with them as it seems we are unable to help? 🤔 That should be your next step. Their number is in the booklet. Please update us if you find a resolution as that helps others.

Okay, an update on the alarm situation. We've discovered that the 12v back up battery was leaking, so wasn't providing the correct current to the alarm when the leisure battery fell below 12v. We'd been experimenting with using solar.
