Flat screen TV mount

Has anyone any tips for mounting a 15 inch flat screen TV in a Caravan?

I'd like to fix it on a swivel type mount either on the Wall or to the worktop surface below so that it can be left in situ and swung out when in use.

I aim to keep any damage to the van to a minimum, but It does need to be firmly fixed so that it can handle any jarring when towing. I'm not sure if the wall could take the weight.

Any advice on brackets or fixing would be appreciated.

Hi Thorpedo

We have a great flat screen with inbuilt freeview, dvd, 12 volt plus 240 volt. Came with a swivel bracket but I was worried about just using the screws supplied with it, so I replaced them with coachbolts through the bottom of the booze cabinet on our Abbey Spectrum 620. However I do not travel with it on its stand but hook it on and off securing with screw supplied - only takes 2 minutes and my daughter usually does it as one of her jobs. Have to say works very well.

Thanks all

Crikey, CPC have around 300 to choose from. Some mount under cabinates, some clamp on and loads of wall mounts.

The best bet is the side of a cupboard/wardrobe that could be reinforced inside if its not possible to fit one like mine that clamps on to the end of a worktop and is VERY strong
