Hi all,

No answer from Fleetwood seems to be their standard response, if you are a customer with a 22k caravan with problems then they have no interest in you at all, mine has had problems from build, a senior manager eventually came to look at it on December 3rd (at 13 months old) and agreed it was of poor quality, then nothing, I had to ring him (Dec 11th) to see what was going to be done and he told me Fleetwood would replace the caravan and he would confirm this in writing, 6 weeks on and no letter, no phone call or email, nothing.

Ignoring customers is what Fleetwood are very good at.

Funny how some people like to slate Baileys at every opportunity, having owned two bailey vans, never ever had any problem with either corresponding directly with them or my local dealer.

Hi Big Al, I too had the same responce (zilch) from the Fleetwood factory to my request for help regarding my "Colchester" model --- twice. Gave it up as a bad job. It is a sure way of saying to their customers, "we are not interested in our customers". Although my van has been pretty good so far, I will not be tempted to buy another, knowing my manufacturing company is no longer interested.

Had two Bailey Indianas and have had quick replacements to faults and bought LED lamp and some material both sorted within two weeks.Ordered a Sterling Jewel fabric door(bedroom) took about 8 weeks.

Yes fleetwood do factory tours but i think that you have to be a member of the fleetwood owners club.we are going to visit adria's factory soon,do you have a fleetwood built caravan or a adria built one with a fleetwood badge. There is a fleetwood club website if you need further help.

I have just had a phone call from Fleetwood as a result of four emails I sent, they were quite concerned and appogetic about the delay in replying to my emails, I am having problems with the heating in my heritage 640, I have been given assurances I will keep this site posted.

Allan,

What year and model is your Heritage? Mine is a 2007 ES(d) and unfortunately your post sounds like the start of a similar story to mine, it developed leaks at a month old, 14 months on and I am still waiting for a replacement caravan which was finally promised in early December, and I still have antifreeze leaking from a radiator inside the caravan. Have you dealt with Richard Allen? although he seems very nice, polite and proffesional his promises just do not happen, be very carefull as he is quite simply a liar, the concerned and appolagetic reaction is standard from him, what excuse did he give this time? was he at a show for the last month or out of the country on business?

I really do hope you get it sorted as soon as possible and you don't have to go through what I have had to, but get any thing Richard Allen tells you in writing or he will deny saying it.

Sounds rather like Bailey.

Hands washed of the product as soon as it leaves the factory.
Unusual for Bailey not to respond from what I am told Kelly at Bailey is on the ball. They are on the forum now so you can make contact here.Peter.
