It seems its very similar to the Alko suspension fitted to virtually all UK and EU caravans, but not using the "Flextor" name

Alko are similar to indespendion units as they use rubber cord trapped by a steel bar basically however flextor was a tapered cast unit with the axle rubber bonded in they was fitted on Bond minicars (three-wheelers) I wondered if the made larger units and what had happened to them ..thanks for the reply..Gary
