It was nice to read about and see on tv some good news for a change. All involved in the rescue of the entombed Chilean miners are worthy of congratulation, those guys were dead men

When we are bombarded every day with images of the worst side of the nature of mankind it was great to see the human spirit at it's best

Agreed, i watched a lot of it online, it was hugely addictive. A fantastic achievement, and i am sure that the films and tightening of procedures will be welcome.

Brought tears to my eyes. The speed at which they completed the actual rescue yesterday was incredible. But I bet the emotional trauma those guys have been through, both underground for all that time, and in the months to come, will take some getting used to, and for their loved ones.

There will be a movie made by hollywood,I can see it now.... American trapped 6 miles down takes charge of hysterical group of south American miners...Sylvester stillone stars......Brad Pit as the man in charge of the only drill bit in the world big enough.. Theres bound to be a group of Nuns and two women fighting over Sly..There will be a russian plot to steal the drill and the American special Forces with the help of the marines will rescue them 2 seconds before their air runs out...Oh.the American flag will fly throughout....There you are job done.....scrip.by bribes........
