I have purchased a royale T125 and need advice on the best way to restore, it has damp over the internal walls and the cupboards are pealing.

I payed £156 - which i think is a bargain - it has been serviced and has a new tower attached. The roof has been cleaned however i cant shift the black damp spots - any idea?

also the paint looks rather dull - i wondered if i could get any substance that restores the original color.

i lost an extrenal left side cupbord door on the motorway on the way home, do you know where i can order another? I pulled in the services and a traveller offered me £700 there and then for it, he said if i restore it it would be worth a few thousand punds - is this true or should i have accepted the £700?

if it needs new cupboards will this devalue the potntial of it? it has the origional fridge, gas hob and sink.

I really need to get hold of some pictures of how the internal should look - colors aswel - as i have no idea at the moment

Lewis, Hi.I'm Emmerson, and I'm chairman of the Royale Caravan Owner's Club. First thing you need to do is join the club.

Google "royale owner's club", then go to "welcome to our world", download an application form, and join us. This will give you access to all the info you need about your van.The club has a number of practical members, who will be only to willing to help, particularly if you come rallying with us. As for the van being worth thousands, you should have taken his

Emmerson,my apologies for describing you as a lowly memeber of The Royale Owners Club I had no idea that you held such a lofty position. If you carry on like that you will be at risk of nearing(although never attaining) the dizzy heights of supremecy of myself and Lord B.

Incidently with much of my lands and estate confiscated by the crown in retribution for my deeds do i get commision if you get a new member!)

Nice try Sir Anthony, but as yet, I haven't heard from Lewis.

With regard to my lofty position, I did once try to usurp Lord

Bs position as Forum aristocrat, put was very firmly put down, by I think, Lisa!

Just out of interest, is it the editors responsibility to type the newsletter and then circulate it? Just wondering.

The Plotter, yeah, and I post the newsletter to myself as well! We have around 70-80 members, scattered all over the UK plus one in France.

Lisa, in our case, yes. I edit, collate and part write it, then I have it printed by a local charity, put it in the envelopes, stick on the stamps, then give the whole lot to our local postman, sit back and wait for the complaints! The newsletter only goes out every three months, so it's not a particularly arduous task. I get quite a buzz from doing it actually. Anne helps with some articles if I run short of material, but this one is quite big, at seven double-sided A4 pages.

I was going to apply to be your secretary but looks like Anne has beaten me to it.

Seven double sided pages, that's brilliant. My NDDSBTC and EMSBTC newsletters never go beyond about three single sided pages!

Lewis, hello again. As far as authenticity is concerned, it's your van, you do what you wish to it. Lots of our members have up-rated their vans, with cassette toilets, modern upholstery etc. There is no connection between Royale and Carlight, although they both served the same market. As for the door you've lost, membership of the club will give you access to our resident Royale mender, who may be able to help you. The number tells me that your van was built in 1971.For only
