for the technical minded - does this work ?

whether it works or not it is a stupid thing to show on film. It is giving the yobos the means of breaking into cars. It should be removed. The "youtube" should be policed more efficiently than to allow this sort of thing to be shown.
 
This method was shown on TV quite a few years ago and I think works on cars that use some kind of vacuum device in the locking mechanism.

I believe that the makers have found a way around this on more modern cars.

Nice to see that they dented their car in the process though.
