We enjoy our caravan holidays in France but because of my disability my husband is the sole driver.Could anyone advise of an insurer who would assist me/ get me home (with or without the caravan) in the event of my husband being incapacitated through illness or accident? We also take our two dogs on holiday

Jennier has got it right - from personal experience and reports from others, CC red Pennant should look after you in this respect. You do not mention age - if it so happens you have a collection of bus passes, then try RIAS or Saga.
