Hi, I'm looking for a site near Fowey, for about 8 days in late June. Close to the beach and town would be great. We don't have kids but do have a dog. Any help appreciated.

Hi Gary try this http://www.penhale-fowey.co.uk/camping.asp never stayed here but been past on loads of occasions and looks ok from the outside and decent reviews on UKCS.

Hi Gary , yes Looe CC site is nice, we were there at New year, you can walk into Looe or the bus stops outside and if you want to go to Fowey it's only about a 20min drive via the Boddinick ferry.

At the site try to get a pitch away from the fence that ajoins the holiday park next door as sometimes it can be a bit noisy.

We were on the hardstandings at the bottom of the site and if you put the van in nose first you can get some wonderful views of the valley.
