When we bought our new van last month we were given various leaflets on offers at caravan sites. We have now planned our September trip for the prelude to the Woosie event at Poston Mill in October:
2 nights (Wed/Thurs) near Weston Super Mare (1 free and 1 at £20)
2 nights (Fri/Sat) in Dawlish (free)
1 night (Sun) in Glastonbury (free)
resulting in a nice west country tour of 5 nights for the cost of 1 (all bookings having EHU).
Still haven't got the new awning wet yet, but won't be taking it on the short hops this time.

My wife would be proud of you, must look out for these leaflets, although buying a caravan does seem to be an expensive way of getting a few nights away..

We are back from our trip, overall had a good time and weather was dry (but nippy) up to Sun morning. Got more than a bit wet

packing up for the trip up to Glastonbury and it was torrential rain going up the M5. The rain eased for setting up at Glastonbury, but of course the heavens opened up overnight with lots of localised flooding. The van faired OK and the roads home were wet with surface water but passable.
Looking forward to the Woosie meet at Poston Mill next month and hope for better weather.
