hi we have just bought d tv rec from asda today to take in the caravan with us it is similar to sky plus you can record one and watch another station so we will see if they are ok just trying on telly up stairs

we have sky plus and they are brill

£69 from asda

Does this have a built in hardrive so it can store what you have recorded. What size is the tv and could it be mounted i.e is it heavy.

I have not done it yet as I have been happy with the 320gb storage I have at present but I have software which converts the file to different formats like mpeg or mheg - this means all I have to do is plug the hard drive into the PC and I can store there or burn onto DVD for permanent storage.

Tried my friends and it needs tuning to freeview signal before you can access the hard drive,when we were in a poor area we had nothing.Is the Asda one the same?My friends one was from Argos,you just put leads into DVD recorder if you want a hard copy,but its in real time,cant be done rapidly afaik
