Hi All, We are looking around at other 4x4 they look nice but they are too big, Quite like the look of the Freelander TD4 5 doors to pull our 1300kw caravan, I don"t Known which one to go for manual or auto, which is best for solo or towing and what do they get to the gallon, Thank you Trevor

Hi we have a 53 Freelander TD4 Kalahari with Steptronic Auto box (allows yo to drive as a Auto or almost Manual Box). We found the manual box hard work from a standing start at say a set of light you would be in third by the time you had crossed the junction but with the Auto it is a dream. No problems with the freelander at all we have had several Mits, Isuzu, Dissy and a range rover the freelander has been the best 4x4xfar to quote he add.

Oh and its fuel is around the 34 mpg and 28+ Towing.
