We have just purchased a 2004 Lunar Chateau 500 and the freezer box is tiny...

As new caravanners, we would appreciate any suggestions for increasing our freezer capacity, whether it be a seperate portable freezer box (Gas, 12v, mains ????) or swapping the exisiting fridge/freezer setup.

What are the best freezer boxes on the market ?

should we get gas, 12v or mains powered ?

How cold do they actually freeze to ?

Any thoughts welcomed...
 
Do not know whether it would fit but the fridges in the current Bailey Pageant are certainly larger than most (over 100 litres) and the freezer certainly keeps items frozen.
 
Do you actually mean freezer or do you mean cold. For the latter the Halfords offering is good - many of the others do not have a thermostat so freeze the veg (bad news for the chef0 but keep the tonic really cold (good news for me).
