Fresher: Indicator problems.

Hello forum, I'm a fresher with an Eriba Nova touring van. Old/small great to tow!. However might n/s indicator does not flash or beep. I replaced the bulb to no avail.

Any pointers would be graciously recieved.

have you checked the pins at the connector? try just opening them up a little with a screwdriver or knife.

Update: bought muti-meter and connection at point were you insert bulb has power surging through it but still no light on the indicator bulb. I;ve tried renewing bulb (checking the correct voltage and wattage 12V/21W). It appears that when I insert the bulb the power disappears, disconnect bulb and apply multi-meter and I have a reading again. Logic does not appear to apply with this situationa nd any help or guidance would be very much apprecaited. In advance thank you.

I am not a sparks but it sounds like a dogy earth that is shorting out,check the earth side or pickup the power from the bulb holder and run a wire to a remote bulb(connected to a known earth) if the bulb lights it would indicate a poor earth.
