Hi all , A friend has a problem with her fridge. 1 it won't work on gas , 2 the controls don't seem to do anything although they all light up. With all the controls off and the 230v switched on at the fuse box it freezes continually, freezing the milk and everything else. Any idea what could be wrong , could it be the mother board ?.

It depends what make of fridge it is as to what may be wrong.
If it has hardly ever been used on gas, then it needs a good service, but with the other problems as well it would be better to get a mobile engineer to do whatever is necessary as servicing the gas will require interfering with gas connections.
