hi got a thetford fridge 6 year old but broken wil have to replace it but very dear was wondering is it hard to replace it with a electrolux as they are a lot cheeper please help chas
 
Electrolux do not make caravan fridges any more.

Dometic took over the leisure fridge market, along with many other leisure market items, from Electrolux.

Both Dometic and Thetford caravan fridges are expensive as they are 3 way, using three heating sources and are specifically made for th leisure market.

A domestic electrolux fridge is a lot cheaper but only works on mains, has a quite noisy compressor and also the fitted gas pipe will need sealing off if not being used.
