Hi

Have just bought an Abbey Safari to replace our old VW transporter. Never caravanned before and didn't realise how complicated caravans were. Going to Whitby on Thursday (hopefully) if can get the hang of towing. We are frantically reading the instruction manual and hope we can work things

Sure you'll find the caravan much better than the campervan when you get used to it. We like having the freedom to go wherever we like in the car when away. We were in Whitby last Sunday and it was lovely. The route in from York where we were staying would have been a challenge for a first tow though so plan your route carefully. Claire does all our towing and has very quickly got the hang of it. Just take things steady and make sure you are certain of your route. Good luck and let us know how you get on.
