Fully Serviced Pitch

Whilst connecting up on a fully serviced pitch over the new year I found that the connector supplied with the ball-valve assembly (for the aquaroll) did not fit the screw thread on the supply tap which was a larger diameter . Is there some connector available into which the blue hose will still "snap" fit and which screws onto the larger diameter tap threads ??

you will find on some sites that the connector has a screw thread but a serated nossle type fitting.this actually screws off(need pliers sometimes)and leaves only screw fixing.buy a snap on connector b&q etc that screws on to the tap and snaps into your aqua hose

Should you go to France you will find the same thing. A short visit to Mr Bricolage provided me with a small assortment of hose adaptors both male and female for the assorted site taps encountered. the good news is that they still size in inches as well as metric, so most can also be used in UK

How do you manage a short visit to M. Bricolage? I usually get thrown out at closing!
